As the listener opens the app, the composition begins, commencing at the opening of the instrumental piece. They continue to hear this piece until entering one of six pre-defined locations, at which point the instrumental layer disappears, and the electroacoustic miniature associated with that space is heard. As the electroacoustic section ends, the instrumental piece returns, commencing from a point specified by the current location. After a short while, the listener will begin to hear memories of the sound and space that they have just experienced, overlaid upon the instrumental sound. The instrumental piece continues in a linear fashion until the listener enters the next location. If the listener were to return later to one of the six locations that they had already visited, they would not hear the electroacoustic miniature for a second time. Instead they are presented only with memories of the given location.
